To ensure the brand achieved a consistent, scalable outcome, we utilised a component-based system. The design system allows for a level of flexibility and usability of the brand through a range of online and printed collateral. Apis Group engaged us to be a part of a small multi-disciplinary team (3 specialists), to develop an Alpha prototype of the Carer Gateway website in 5 days (in code!). In just 5-days we went from a blank page to a fully functioning prototype of the website, and in the process delivered 5 iterations of the design, which we tested with 12 users.

We collaborated with the project development team, internal Department staff, and stakeholders to design and iterate the product. I worked closely with the business and product owners across all aspects of the digital platform, from the initial brand development to solution design and clickable prototypes. And later, a refreshed UI and development of the Connect design system.

The DSO visual identity has been designed with its stakeholders firmly in mind. As a key connector between industry, academia and government, we found a shape and colour scheme that would feel accessible and appropriate to any of these groups. All deliverables were met in a very short time frame due to the initial concept workshops a common design direction from stakeholders was achieved. As part of the process, guidelines were created to assist the brand development after handover. As part of a multi-disciplinary team - collaboration was a key objective not only within the project team but also with stakeholders, external providers, partners. Milestones were met with frequent showcases, workshops and deliverables.

We worked directly with the AIATSIS team to design and deliver effectively in a limited time frame, and to meet milestones. The theme of the Annual report was to feature the artwork of Australian artist Jimmy Pike.

The identity incorporated the colours of Autumn in Canberra and together with imagery from a local Canberra photographer, a sense of place was established within the brand. As part of the brand development process, we worked with the team to develop a style guide, Visual collateral and the development of the website.

Blue Orange AI engaged us to partner with them on designing and developing the International Eligibility Check for CBHS. We worked closely with Blue Orange and the CBHS team from initial concept wireframes to clickable prototypes. These were tested with end-users and was developed and delivered using agile methodologies.
